The Collection records her activities as director of Home Economics at the Pennsylvania State College, administrator, and member of the Pennsylvania State Education Association, the Committee on Thrift for Pennsylvania, the American Home Economics Association, and the Pennsylvania Home Economics Association. The collection is composed of correspondence, agendas, minutes, programs, bulletins and invitations. Chief correspondent is Anna Green, Pennsylvania Department of Public Instruction. Ms. Chace served as President of the Pennsylvania Home Economics Association in 1930.

The Pennsylvania Humanities Council designated the year 1985 as "The Year of the Pennsylvania Writer." The PHC funded projects in eight locations throughout the Commonwealth to gain appreciation, understanding, and recognition for past and present Pennsylvania writers. The State College/University Park location held a two-stage conference and related events by five Centre County regional organizations.
